Kelly Wong is the Founder of Kinder Life Power Agency and an accomplished financial advisor, agency leader and entrepreneur.

As a Life Time MDRT member and 11-time MDRT qualifier, Kelly has dedicated her career to helping individuals, families and business owners build financial security through professional financial planning, wealth protection and legacy planning.

With more than a decade of leadership experience, she believes true success is not measured solely by personal achievement, but by the lives we impact and the value we leave for future generations.

Kelly's Life Story

Every Great Journey Begins with Courage

Born in Sibu, Sarawak, Kelly grew up in a humble family where her parents operated a small coffee shop. From a young age, she helped at the family business before and after school while maintaining excellent academic results.

Upon completing secondary school, Kelly made the difficult decision to forgo further education in order to support her family. At the age of 18, carrying little more than RM100, she moved alone to Johor Bahru to begin building her own future.

Her early career was filled with uncertainty and challenges, but these experiences shaped the resilience and determination that continue to define her today.

Turning Challenges into Opportunities

Kelly later returned to Sarawak and joined her family’s business. While the company experienced rapid growth, financial difficulties eventually placed the business under significant debt, with Kelly becoming one of the loan guarantors.

Rather than giving up, she chose to face the challenge head-on.

Through determination, discipline and her growing insurance career, Kelly successfully repaid approximately RM700,000 in debt over five years. This life-changing experience reinforced her belief that every challenge presents an opportunity for personal growth.

Today, she often shares this journey to inspire others to remain resilient during difficult times.

In 2014, Kelly founded Kinder Life Power Agency with a vision to create more than just a successful insurance agency.

She envisioned a platform where financial advisors could continuously learn, grow and build meaningful careers while serving families with professionalism and integrity.

Despite investing heavily in establishing the agency during its early years, Kelly remained committed to developing people, strengthening leadership and building a positive culture.

Today, Kinder Life Power has grown into one of Kuching’s recognised AIA agencies, with a dedicated team of full-time and part-time advisors serving clients across Malaysia.
